here is my speech

For my  20%  project I first was learning to animate. It took me so long to get a software for it, and the animation software I got turned out being difficult to use. I couldn’t find any online tutorials for it so I decided   I should probably change what my project is. For the time waiting to for a software I posted a lot of digital artwork. So I decided why not change my project to learning to improve on digitally drawing. I changed it very last minute with only about a month and a half left of school. Since I already had posted some drawings from the beginning of the year, I thought I could redraw some of those drawings to see how much I had improved. I learnt there are many different ways to make your art look more realistic or cartoon depending on the outline color and the shading style. For me I am went for a more cartoon style.
For a more cartoon look you have to outline most of everything in the same color. And it’s also best to outline everything instead of leaving it unlined. I usually outline everything in black. And as shading goes you’re not suppose to use a blending tool to blend the colors together. You should defiantly see the difference between the two colors you shaded with. Also when shading, you shouldn’t use more than three colors of that base color. And this is what I have noticed to help improve my artwork over this year. Also practicing a lot really helps.

What I have created this year was a lot of my book characters drawn out, a couple self portraits, my book cover, another book cover but for a contest, and a lot of characters from various different things.

On Friday during our presentations I honestly thought it was going to be very boring expecailly because i was one of the first boards away from the crowd which was in the middle. But honestly it wasn't too bad. A lot more people cam to my poster board than i thought. I enjoyed it.
